Computing Intent Statement 

At Nansloe Academy, we know that computing underpins many aspects of modern life. Children are presented with aspirational opportunities to build confidence, knowledge and understanding of the way technologies work. Our computing curriculum is mapped into three broad strands: Computer Science, Information Technology and Digital Literacy.   

Progression through the curriculum is based on key items of knowledge and skill being re-visited and expanded upon through the years, allowing children to build solid foundations in their long-term understanding of computing. Our framework provides children with a broad, balanced set of learning experiences which reflect and celebrate diversity, enabling all learners to navigate their way through the ever-changing technological world we live in.
