History Intent Statement
Our history curriculum is driven by enquiry-based questioning, enabling our pupils to think like historians and to learn how to interpret the past through a variety of primary and secondary sources. Through discussion and reflection, the children begin to develop a sense of life in the past and broaden their knowledge and understanding of the world. As they progress through the school, children begin to establish a more secure understanding of the chronology of key events and how these have impacted the way we live today.
