Welcome to Nansloe Nursery, Helston, Cornwall

Nansloe Nursery serves the town of Helston and its surrounding communities including Pentire and Culdrose.  We offer high-quality pre-school provision for children aged 3 and 4 years in our purpose-built setting, located next to Nansloe Academy. Our nursery helps bridge the gap between pre-school and Reception Class, providing the absolute best start to your child’s learning journey.

Our Nursery children regularly visit the main school to explore the Story Garden, take part in PE sessions, and enjoy time in the school library, helping them feel part of the wider school community.

Our indoor learning environment is filled with engaging, play-based activities designed to support our early years curriculum. Outside, children can enjoy our spacious outdoor area, which includes a sandpit, climbing frame, and bike track — all designed to encourage exploration, movement, and fun.

Our experienced and friendly nursery team is here to support your child’s smooth transition into nursery, helping them grow in confidence and independence as they prepare for their next step into Reception when the time is right.

Flexible Nursery Sessions 

To suit your family's needs, we offer various session types at Nansloe Nursery:

  • Morning sessions 5 days a week: 8.45am-12 noon
  • Afternoon sessions: 5 days a week: 12 noon-3.15pm
  • All-day session: 8:45 am-3.15 pm
 
We accept children at any point during the school academic year.  So, if you’re looking for a nurturing and inspiring nursery setting for your child, we’d love to welcome you for a visit and a play!
