Friends of Nansloe School (FONS) is a passionate and supportive group made up of staff and parents of children attending Nansloe Academy. Our mission is to enrich the educational journey of every student by raising funds that provide valuable resources and memorable experiences beyond the standard curriculum.
Through a variety of fun and engaging fundraising events, we help to enhance school life—whether it's by supporting classroom learning, funding extracurricular activities, or contributing to special projects that benefit the whole school community.
We believe that by working together, we can make a meaningful difference in our children’s education and create lasting memories along the way.
FONS Committee
At the beginning of the academic year hold our AGM - Annual General Meeting. This is where we elect our members and welcome our new committee members.
The Friends of Nansloe School (FONS) Committee is a dedicated team of parents and staff who work together to plan, organize, and oversee all FONS activities. Our committee members volunteer their time and talents to ensure that every fundraising event and initiative runs smoothly and successfully.
What We Do:
- Plan and coordinate fundraising events throughout the school year
- Manage funds and allocate resources to support school projects
- Encourage community involvement and parent participation
- Work closely with school leadership to identify areas of need
- Promote a positive and inclusive school community
Supporting the FONS
We’re always looking for new volunteers to join us! Whether you can spare a few hours to help at an event, share a special skill, or simply lend a hand behind the scenes, your support makes a big difference. Volunteering with FONS is a great way to meet other parents, get involved in school life, and make a positive impact on our children’s education.
